The Fort Francisco Museum will be open for La Veta’s annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 5!
Step back in time to Old La Veta’s Main Street and see artifacts representing multiple eras of Huerfano County’s history, including American, Spanish settler, and pioneer artifacts. And don’t forget to bring your family to see these special events on Oktoberfest:
Live demonstrations from the Crooked Hook Blacksmith from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM (included with admission).
PRISM Paranormal presents evidence gathered in the museum from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. in the La Veta Public Library at 310 S Main St, La Veta (By donation).
The PRISM Paranormal Museum Team will also host various stations displaying their equipment and evidence throughout the museum campus. Small groups will be guided to stations every 30 minutes beginning at 5:30 p.m. up to 7:30 p.m. YOU MUST PREPAY AND PREREGISTER FOR THIS EVENT AT THE MUSEUM BY 3:00 p.m. October 5th! (Admission $10.00 per person.)
